THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MELISSA J. EDMOND
WATERBURY – Melissa Jean Edmond age 38, passed away unexpectedly on March 9th 2018 at Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Melissa was born January 3rd 1980 in New Milford, CT, the daughter of Stuart and Cynthia (Russell) Edmond of Watertown. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and spent the past several years working as a CNA home health aide in the Southbury and Woodbury areas. Melissa was an avid reader and enjoyed music and loved spending time on the beach. What brought the greatest joy to Melissa was spending time with her family and her children who meant the world to her. She was a member of Gateway Bible Church in Oakville.
Besides her parents, Melissa leaves her adoring children; Thomas Beverly, Alexa Beverly, Kyle Beverly and Alyse Edmonds. She also leaves the love of her life, Michael Ives, as well as her brothers, Stuart Edmond Jr. and his wife, Tammy and Chad Edmond and his wife, Nicole and their son, Melissa’s only beloved nephew, Chad Jr. as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Gathering for Ms. Edmond will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
