THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF JOHN DALEY JR.

Waterbury CT – Mr. John H. Daley Jr. age 91 of Waterbury passed away peacefully Monday December 4th 2017 surrounded by the love and comfort of his family at the Willows of Woodbridge after a extended illness.

John was born November 29 ,1926 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late John H. and Leda (LaFlamme) Daley. He was a graduate of Croft High School and proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII. After being honorably discharged John began working for Pratt and Whitney and retired as a timekeeper after many years of service. He was a member of the Waterbury V.F.W. Post 201 and former member of the Lithuanian club. John was avid sports fan and a diehard Brooklyn Dodgers fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors especially on his property in Morris.

John’s family would like to thank and acknowledge his care giver Asela Harris as well as all the staff at the Willow’s of Woodbridge for their love and compassion they provided to John and his family during his illness.

John is survived by his sister Delores Harris of Waterbury as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Funeral Services for Mr. Daley will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury followed by burial services with full military honors in Old Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with John’s family on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:00am at the funeral home.
